VIDEO: World War II veteran kicks off World's Largest Golf Outing

Herb Heilbrun at California G.C.

CINCINNATI -- During World War II, Herb Heilbrun was the airplane commander of a B-17 Flying Fortress in the 32nd squadron in Foggia, Italy. He flew 35 missions over Europe, logging some 262 hours of combat time. He was decorated with five major Battle Stars, four Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Mr. Heilbrun was kind enough to join us at Cincinnati Recreation Commission's California G.C. to raise the flag as the World's Largest Golf Outing began.
