Sun 'N Lake is proud to be hosting the World's Largest Golf Outing once again as there are few callings more noble than serving one's country. The event's charitable partner is Wounded Warrior Project, which was created in 2003, by bringing backpacks to those injured warriors coming back from war.
130+ plus courses throughout the country will be participating to help raise donations for Wounded Warrior Project on Sunday, August 2, Monday, August 3rd and Tuesday, August 4th.
“Last year we raised almost $900,000 at all the golf courses for the Wounded Warrior Project and this year the goal is to raise over $1 million,” said Sun ‘n Lake head professional Andy Kesling. “We’re happy to be a part of it.”
Kesling said Sun ‘n Lake always enjoys stepping up to help out the veterans.
