Purgatory Golf Club's popular Nike Golf Camp was recently included in the Indianapolis Star's "2015 Camp Guide." The newspaper gathered a list of 45 top camp ideas for the busy kids of the greater Indianapolis area, including 3D design and printing camps, go-kart racing camps and golf camps. Running June 15-18, the Nike Golf Camp is open to juniors of all skill and interest levels and includes:
Full Day Camps
Running 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., golfers improve their skills through three hours of morning instruction working on all facets of the game. After lunch, which is included in the cost, juniors take to the course to play alongside professional staff members, learning strategy, etiquette and course management.
Half Day Camps
Running 9:00 a.m. to Noon, golfers receive instruction on the practice range and short game area at Purgatory Golf Club. An emphasis is placed on fundamentals as golfers sharpen their stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules knowledge and etiquette.
All participants receive a Nike amenity package including a hat, one dozen golf balls, a camp workbook, Nike bag tag and other great prizes.
