Andrew Svoboda notched a career-best runner-up finish on Sunday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, finishing two shots behind first-time winner Seung-yul Noh of South Korea.

Svoboda, who won a pair of Web.com Tour events in 2013, has a connection to Wintonbury Hills, a Billy Casper Golf-managed course in Connecticut. With a 62, Svoboda owns the course record at the Pete Dye track.

The 34-year-old New Rochelle, N.Y., native grew up approximately 2 hours south of Wintonbury Hills.
