Welcome to the Big Show

PGA Show

The PGA of America kicked off their centennial anniversary at the recent PGA Merchandise Show, which takes place every year in Orlando, FL.

Now in its 63rd year, the “Major of Golf Business” draws a huge attendance.  More than 42,000 PGA professionals, business leaders and media from all 50 states and 91 countries flock to the Orange County Convention Center to see the latest and greatest in the industry.   Attendees cover more than 10 miles of show floor where golf’s biggest brands and up-and-comers display what’s new for the upcoming year.

Whether it’s a new club you’re looking for or the latest in game improvement technology, the show had something for everyone.  Here’s what we’re excited about in 2016:

Arccos Drive

ArccosDriver

Arccos – maker of the game’s only GPS & Live Shot Tracking & Tour Analytics platform – launched a new, exciting driver tracking system.   The new unit, which plugs into the butt-end of your driver, will track every drive you take during a round, measuring key statistics like accuracy and average distance.  Starting this spring the sensors will be compatible with both iPhone and Android, and with more than 30,000 courses currently available, the opportunities for game improvement are vast.  One of the more exciting aspects of this system are the multiple driving games you can compete in, either on a local or national levels.

Wizard Golf

GolfWizard

Are you searching for the perfect training device? Well, the search is over.

Wizard Golf has your answer with the creation of The Swing Wizard, a training aid that helps golfers groove a better swing by utilizing a long, two-heading club.  Swinging the device helps improve swing plane, forces you to hinge your wrists at the right spots and teaches you to have your hands forward at impact with the club to ball.  The tricky part with this swing aid … it’s suggested to not hit any balls with it, so practice swings only!
