(RESTON, Va.) – Phil Vigil, general manager of World’s Largest Golf Outing (WLGO) host course Palm Desert Resort Country Club, joined the Channel 3 in Coachella Valley’s “Eye On The Desert” evening program Friday, July 19 to talk about this year’s event.

“We appreciated the opportunity to be on ‘Eye On The Desert’ and have received some great feedback over the past few days,” Vigil said. “This was an excellent opportunity to bring awareness in our community to WLGO, Billy Casper Golf and Fisher House Foundation.”

Since its inception in 2011, WLGO has raised over $4.1 million for military charities and over $1 million for the Fisher House Foundation, which provides military families a “home away from home” when their loved ones are receiving medical treatment.
