(PALM DESERT, Calif.) - The general manager of Palm Desert Resort Country Club, Phil Vigil, has been honored by the PGA of America for joining "The Quarter Century Club" in being a member and professional golfer for 25 years.
Phil has over 30 years of experience in Southern California golf. He not only manages Palm Desert but assists with initiatives at fellow Billy Casper course, Eagle Crest Golf Club, as well. Phil is one of the most knowledgeable resources for all things golf in the area.
The PGA of America's members are encouraged to be stewards of the game and advance it in a positive way. Phil has embodied his mission as an innovative leader and creative approaches to grow the game and drive revenue to his facilities.
"I would be hard pressed to find a better PGA Professional than Phil," says Tom Prince, regional director of sales and marketing. "He is the first to lend a hand and offer ideas on how improve our golf operations in the region."
Congratulations on this tremendous accomplishment, Phil. Thank you for your dedication to BCG, the PGA of America, and Palm Desert Resort.
