Yucaipa Valley Golf Club has one of the most unique features of any golf course in the United States: its own vegetable, fruit and herb gardens! 

The California course has been growing its own wide selection of crops this year and integrating them into the food service in both the new clubhouse, opening this month, and the newly constructed Pavilion at Chapman Ranch, which opened this May. But the crop also has a connection to an American legend, which we share in this week's Global Golf Post.
