The Chicago Tribune reports the 3,095-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath house was sold Aug. 21 after given approval by the Prospect Heights school board that oversees the program that led to the home's construction.
The four-bedroom home was built by more than 50 high school students over two years through the district's Practical Architectural Construction course. The frame was completed over the first year and students worked on the interior in the second year, officials said. ...
The house has 2 1/2 baths and a large deck with a view of the Rob Roy golf course. Its design was the winner in a competition of students in the civil engineer and architecture program.
