Marine Finds Peace of Mind at Colony West Golf Club

CBS4 Moving U

Colony West Golf Club, a Billy Casper Golf-managed course in Tamarac, Fla., recently hosted a couple of special guests for a round on the championship layout. CBS4's Dave Warren stopped by as part of a feature on Duane Sebastian, a Marine who served in Iraq in 2004.

Duane and Dave were joined by Bob Ewing, the General Manager of Colony West and Ryan Miller, Assistant Manager for a fun day on the links.

Duane started playing golf before his service and continues to play today. He's involved with the Veterans Golf Association (VGA), an international golf development organization that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to veterans and their family members. The VGA's tournament schedule includes a stop at Colony West in June.

Duane will be participating in this year's World's Largest Golf Outing (WLGO), a charitable golf event benefiting Fisher House Foundation and Arnie's Army.
