Heritage Shores recently hosted a fundraising event with Wyatt's Warriors, an organization near and dear to the community's hearts. The Celebrity Bartending event supported Vernon and Chelsea Boog after the recent passing of their infant son. Chelsea was the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Heritage Shores from 2014 - 2015. Her son, Vincent, was born on Sept. 27, 2016 and passed away on Dec. 6, 2016, due to complications from congenital heart defects (CHD).
One in 100 babies are born with CHD. Chelsea joined with Wyatt's Warriors to raise money for research and awareness. Based in Salisbury, MD, Wyatt's Warriors was created to honor the memory of Wyatt Shipe, another local baby who died from CHD. The organization aims to help families at a difficult time by providing comfort, support, education and encouragement.
The fundraising event raised more money than any other Celebrity Bartending event at Heritage Shores.
