Get excited for the Ryder Cup in this week's Global Golf Post!

Wintonbury Hills

It's the week the U.S. has been waiting for these last two years. It's Ryder Cup Week!

The Ryder Cup kicks off on Friday at Gleneagles Resort in Scotland, with 12 Americans ready to take on 12 Europeans in golf's greatest event. Three days, 28 matches to decide a 14-inch trophy that means so much to both sides. The gang at Global Golf Post have a comprehensive preview of the event, including predictions.

Meanwhile here in the States, golf season is coming close to its end for much of the country. But that doesn't mean there's a dearth of special golf still to be played in 2014. Connecticut's Wintonbury Hills is New England's only Pete Dye design, doing the work for the town of Bloomfield for a mere dollar. Find out the story behind this classic Dye track in this week's issue.
