Representing the best amateurs in Michigan, the golfers will play 36 holes of stroke play in groups of three.

“We’re excited to support amateur golf in Michigan by hosting a U.S. Amateur Qualifier,” says Paul Milholland, General Manager. “Currie West – our exhilarating 18-hole layout – is well-suited for this type of lively competition.”

About Currie Golf Courses

Featuring an 18-hole course (Currie West), nine-hole layout (Currie East) and exceptional practice facility, Currie has something for players of all abilities. Originally a nine-hole track, Currie West was expanded to 18 holes in 2002. Designed by Michigan golf course architect Jerry Matthews, Currie West features five tee boxes to suit players of all skill levels. Currie East – the original 18-hole layout – was designed and constructed by Gilbert Currie (for whom the facility is named) and was shortened to nine holes in 2015 to accommodate the new driving range. Welcoming new and experienced players, the practice facility features a driving range, practice range, practice putting green and par 3 course. The clubhouse houses a fully-stocked Golf Shop and Gil’s Grill. Other highlights include The Currie Golf Academy, junior golf programming and Currie’s newest offering, FootGolf,
