It’s official. The Country Club of Brewton is one of the best courses in Alabama.
GolfAdvisor – the trusted home of more than 200,000 reviews for golfers by golfers – unveiled its Top 10 Alabama courses for 2015 and the Country Club of Brewton took center stage.
The widely popular Jerry Pate design, and home course to Boo Weekley when he’s in town, ranked No. 3 of more than 300 eligible courses with 4.7 (of five) stars. To determine top tracks, GolfAdvisor combined courses’ overall and subcategory ratings which include user-based reviews measuring overall course design, conditioning, customer service and affordability.
The Country Club of Brewton takes golfers on a back-to-nature journey. Opened in 1997, the 7,019-yard, par-72 layout features tree-lined fairways, several elevations changes and two large, serene lakes which challenge all ages and abilities, in a good way of course.
“Our golfers have spoken and GolfAdvisor agrees: the Country Club of Brewton is one of Alabama’s best courses,” says general manager Ryan Andrews. “Our spot on the list is testament to the amazing team we’ve assembled who work hard day-in and day-out to present the best golf experience in the state.”
