Billy Casper Golf has brought FootGolf to Philly

Yucaipa Valley FootGolf outing

FootGolf is sweeping the country off its feet. Over 200 courses have popped up in the U.S. in the last 18 months, with most of those in the last year. Billy Casper Golf has been at the forefront of the FootGolf movement, creating courses throughout its portfolio where there's demand. That includes Philadelphia, where BCG has brought FootGolf to Cobbs Creek.

So far, the sport's taking off nicely, according to the Philadelphia Daily News, for players of all ages.

"Golf's hard," said Cobbs Creek general manager Cliff Easum. "It takes time to learn. It takes a lot of practice. FootGolf isn't hard at all. We've seen 10- or 12-year-olds already out here that just can beat the heck out of me."

Soccer players, looking to keep up their skills in a different setting, also have taken to the sport. And at $12 for an 18-hole round, it's a bargain.
