A new driving range is coming to Currie Golf Courses

There will be a new driving range at Currie Golf Courses in 2015.

On Thursday, the Midland (Mich.) city council unanimously approved a measure to provide the budget to build a range on two holes of the former front nine of the East Course. The new range will replace the current one, which requires golfers to go across a street to practice.

“A new range will be significantly more convenient for golfers and a high quality practice facility,” said BCG's Nick Bednar at the council meeting.

Take a look at the space the new range will occupy, between the former East Course Nos. 1 and 9, as well an aerial-view sketch of how the range will look when complete, including the range's five target greens.
